What is COACHING?

“The unexamined life is not worth living.”

Socrates

What is life-coaching?

Life Coaching is a process whereby you and I work together to move you forward from where you are to where you want to be. It’s not about healing inner wounds or focusing on the past. It’s about building a vision, growing, finding your vocation, and living to the max through the practice of virtue!

What happens during coaching?

Our professional relationship moves you forward through our weekly 45 minute meeting by phone. You will then make great progress in the time between meetings as you dig into specific exercises designed to help you build good habits, gain clarity, set goals, and overcome obstacles.

Who would benefit from Coaching?

Life Coaching is for anyone who is healthy, stable, and functioning, motivated, and ready to live their best life! Not sure if Coaching is for you? Call me! It’s free!

I would love to have a conversation with you!

What’s CAtholic about this?

Catholic Life Coaching is different from its secular counterpart because we believe in the soul. The goal of Catholic Life Coaching is to help you save your soul through the practice of virtue. Your Catholic Coach approaches the soul from the point of view of Aristotelean-Thomistic Psychology. Also, you can expect a Catholic standard of Ethics and Morals from your Catholic Coach.

How does coaching Work?

Coaching begins with a free Discovery Call. During this initial phase of the coaching process, you and I will walk through how the process works. You bring an area of your life that you feel dissatisfied with, unclear about, or that you want to improve. I will lead you through a process of powerful questions to help you find clarity and peace. Coaching differs from counseling or consulting in respect to who is the “expert.” Coaching assumes that you are the expert in your life, and consequently you must make the decisions on what you will do. I will not give you advice. I will not tell you what to do. I will not tell you how to live your life. Coaching respects the autonomy and freewill of the client. You must do the work and make the tough decisions. In this way, the proverb “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime,” is eminently true of Coaching. I will not tell you how to fly. Rather, you must learn to fly yourself!
